Back to School? Treat the Kids to One Last Eden Adventure

end of summer kids day out Algarve September school holiday activity

The last days of the summer holidays carry a particular weight. School is imminent. The children know it. You know it. The weather is still magnificent and the Algarve is still glorious, but there’s a countdown.

Make the last couple of days count.

Eden in early September is equally as beautiful. The course — still green, still lush, still home to Baz, Mr. Cob Ra and the Eden Kong. The pool is still warm. The evenings are still long. The experience is the same, but with more space to move through it.

For a final proper family day of the summer, Eden is well set up. The mini golf gives the children something active to do — 18 holes through a tropical garden with a talking tree and a waterfall — while the courtyard provides the sequel. Foosball, air hockey, arcade games, ice cream, the Golfland burger. The kids will have already planned which machines they’re heading to before they’ve finished the 18th hole.

Add the pool for a complete day. The water is still warm in September — the pool is heated to around 29–30 degrees. A morning swim and then the mini golf and courtyard in the afternoon is a good structure.

For parents, September at Eden has a particular quality: you can actually hear yourself think. The venue is relaxed, there’s space, and the same things that made it good in the summer are still there without the intensity of peak season.

One last good day. Make it happen.
